the car donation tax write off the organization must be
a 501-C, non-profit organization.
Also, ask the organization how much of the
profit of the sale of your car is going directly to the
charity.

of Northern Virginia - We accept most vehicles and vessels,
including but not limited to, cars, trucks, trailers, boats
and RV's.
American
Red Cross of the national capitol area.- The National
Capital Area Chapter, engages the community in providing
services to people throughout the District of Columbia,
Fairfax County, Va, and the cities of Falls Church, Va,
and Montgomery County, Md and accepts donations of new and
used vehicles (towing is free).
